Guidelines

  • General

    • Full scale drawings
    • No scanned documents or drawings
    • No hatching or color filles
    • No hidden lines
    • No stacked lines
    • All text will be engraved
    • Maintain 1/16" between engravings and cut edge for best result
    • Use Arial Font for Engraved Text
    • Drawing colors are White and Black ONLY, Black will be engraved.
    • Max Drawing size of 35.4" x 23.6"

  • Supported File Formats

    • *.DWG - Avoid .shx Fonts
    • *.DXF
    • *.PDF - Must be exported from the software directly.
    • *.SVG
    • *.AI

Drawing Details

  • Good!

    Ready to send to the machine to process.

  • NOT good...

    Remove the hidden lines and push button details. Show the 22.5mm or 30.5mm hole that will be cut.

Drawing Dimensions

  • Good!

    Minimum Dimensions will be used to confirm scaling.

  • NOT good...

    Our process replicated the part as drawn. Detailed dimensions are not used and need to be removed.

Color Filling

  • Good!

    Use Drawing notes to indicate color. Hatching is not supported. Ready to send to the machine to process.

  • NOT good...

    Color filling must be removed. Our process will engrave anything that is filled.

Drawing Outlines

  • Good!

    Single line edges only. No bevels or hashing. Avoid lines stacked on top of eachother.

  • NOT good...

    Double Lines and Bevels must be removed. These cannot be laser cut and will create another cut edge.
